You can apply for a student ID card online once your student ID number is generated.

Usually, the application guidelines are provided around mid-January.

 

For online application, you must have either a resident registration card or a driver’s license.

If you don’t have these identification documents,

you will need to apply for a student ID card in person at the on-campus bank after enrollment.

 

In addition, to apply online, you should not have opened a new bank account (regardless of whether it is a different bank or a securities company) within the last 30 days.

However, opening a savings or deposit account does not affect the application.

 

Therefore, from mid-December of the previous year to mid-January (until the announcement for student ID card issuance),

you should refrain from opening or closing bank accounts to be eligible for online application.
